Privacy Policy

Plain English. No surprises. Last updated 15 May 2026.

Who we are

This privacy policy applies to Executive Assistant Templates, operating at executiveassistanttemplates.com (“the site”, “we”, “us”). The site is a free library of templates for Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Chiefs of Staff, Office Managers and other admin professionals.

For any privacy-related questions or requests, please use the contact form.

What we collect

We try to collect as little as possible.

Server logs

Like every web server, ours records each request: your IP address, the URL you visited, the time of the request, your browser’s user-agent string, and the page that referred you. These logs help us spot abuse and keep the site running. They are kept for up to 14 days and are not used to profile you.

Cookies we set ourselves

One first-party cookie is set:

  • eatl_sess — a random session identifier that keeps view-count and admin-login state consistent during a single browsing session. Expires when you close the browser. Contains no personal data.

Information you give us

If you fill in the contact form we receive whatever you typed (your name, email and message). We use this only to reply to you and never share it with anyone else.

We do not have public user accounts. The /admin area is for site administrators only.

What third parties collect

A small number of features on each page come from other services. Those services may collect information about your visit independently of us:

Google AdSense — advertising

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements on the public site. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the __gads cookie and the DoubleClick DART cookie) and similar identifiers to:

  • Show ads based on your previous visits to this and other sites;
  • Measure ad performance and prevent fraud;
  • Personalise advertising where you have consented to that.

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time at www.google.com/settings/ads or, for all participating networks, at www.aboutads.info and www.youronlinechoices.com.

For full details of how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see Google’s “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” page.

Google Analytics 4 — usage measurement

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use the site (which templates are popular, where readers come from, what devices they use). Analytics sets its own cookies (typically _ga and _ga_*) and sends Google an aggregated picture of usage.

Your IP address is anonymised by us before Google logs it (anonymize_ip is enabled in our gtag configuration). We do not use Analytics audiences, remarketing, or any feature that connects Analytics data to advertising profiles.

Google’s privacy practices for Analytics are described at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Analytics across all sites by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on.

Content delivery networks

A small number of stylesheets, fonts and scripts are loaded from third-party CDNs. These providers receive your IP address as part of delivering those files:

  • jsDelivr — Bootstrap CSS, Bootstrap JS, and Bootstrap Icons.
  • Google Fonts — the Inter typeface used across the site.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell your data. Ever.
  • We don’t share data with anyone outside the third parties listed above.
  • We don’t track you across other websites ourselves.
  • We don’t use any analytics or marketing tool beyond the Google Analytics 4 setup described above (no Hotjar, no Mixpanel, no Facebook pixel).

Your rights (UK / EU visitors)

Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you have the right to ask us to:

  • Confirm what data we hold about you;
  • Correct anything that’s wrong;
  • Delete data we hold, subject to any legal obligation to keep it;
  • Object to or restrict particular uses of your data;
  • Receive a copy of any data you’ve given us (right to portability).

Send any of these requests via the contact form and we’ll respond within 30 days.

If you’re unhappy with our response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Children

The site is intended for working professionals. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please get in touch and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — to add a service, fix an inaccuracy, or comply with new law. The “last updated” date at the top of this page changes when we do. Significant changes will also be flagged via a notice on the homepage for at least 14 days.

For any privacy question or request, please use the contact form and write “Privacy” in the message so we route it to the right place.
